Important Note:

  • All science subjects include both theory and practical components
  • Laboratory work is mandatory for all practical subjects

B.Sc. Second Year

  1. Compulsory language: English
  2. Second Language: Marathi/ Hindi/ Add. English
  3. Compulsory Environmental Studies: (Students opting Environmental Science optional are exempted)
  4. Optional group selected in First Year (with theory and practicals)

In the second year, students continue with the same subject combination they chose in the first year. The curriculum becomes more advanced, building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the first year. Emphasis is placed on developing deeper understanding and practical skills in the chosen subjects.

B.Sc. Third Year

  1. Group of optional selected in First year (with advanced theory and practicals)
  2. Project work/Research methodology (depending on subject combination)
  3. Industrial visits and field work (as applicable)

The final year focuses on advanced topics and specialized areas within the chosen subjects. Students are expected to undertake project work, research assignments, and participate in seminars and workshops. This year prepares students for higher studies or entry into professional careers in their respective fields.
